Marcel Rauda is a board-certified Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with the ANCC. He earned his graduate degree from Maryville University in St. Louis. He treats adolescents and adults with psychiatric disorders in the outpatient setting as well as inpatient setting and is currently on staff at Canyon Ridge Hospital. Marcel immigrated to the US when he was 6 years old and has lived in California ever since. Marcel has a great passion for helping people to improve their mental health in a holistic approach including medications, therapy, diet and involvement in activities

What can patients expect from you as a provider? My goal in treatment is to educate my patients on how the combination of psychological, sociological and physiological factors led to their psychiatric disorders and how we’re going to tackle the symptoms in a holistic manner including the use of medications when needed.
What makes you different as a provider? I tend to focus on developing a human connection with my patients and work hand in hand with them to develop a treatment plan.
What sort of hobbies or interestes do you have? Marcel loves to travel, learn about new cultures, and is intellectually curious about a variety of subjects.
